The Podcast That Cuts Through the Headlines

I carry a healthy skepticism of headlines. One week they say coffee is good for us. The next week it isn't. Eggs are in. Eggs are out. A supplement gets hailed as the next breakthrough, then quietly questioned a few months later.

That's why Science Vs has earned a permanent spot in my car. Host Wendy Zukerman and her team of researchers and fact-checkers take a topic everyone's already arguing about and ask what the evidence actually says. They’ve covered protein, creatine, menopause, fasting, forever chemicals, raw milk, AI companions, and many others that dominate news and social media.

What I appreciate most is that they aren't trying to convince you of anything. Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it's not. Often, we just don’t know yet. I find myself drawn to people willing to change their minds when better evidence arrives. That isn't a weakness. That is good science.

Science Vs is available wherever you listen.

Not sure where to start? Here are some interesting episodes to check out first:

Caffeine: How Much Is Too Much?

Seed Oils: Should You Switch to Butter?

The Real Anti-Inflamatory Diet

Why it's on my desk: It treats “we don’t know yet” as a finding, rather than a failure.
